New Light expanded into bakery manufacturing, becoming a trusted name for baked goods in North Kashmir, strengthening its regional presence and legacy. After Haji Ghulam Rasool Lone’s passing, his wife, Mrs. Mugli Begum, ensured continuity until their son, Mr. Mohamed Shaban Lone, took over. Under his leadership, bakery operations modernized in the 1980s, and the hotel upgraded in the 1990s.
In 2021, under Mr. Yasir Lone, the company rebranded as New Light Hospitality Pvt Ltd. Today, the third generation—Mr. Mohamed Shaban Lone’s sons, Aqib and Amir Shaban Lone, along with Mr. Yasir Lone—continues the family legacy, driving innovation and quality in hospitality. The company employs 85 professionals, dedicated to the vision of quality and service.
